The most comprehensive website on PCP is probably www.pcp-net.org. This is an international site which is interesting and informative, and which is also a gateway to most other PCP-related groups and sites. As well as general news and views, and background information about George Kelly and PCP, visitors to the site may be particularly interested in going to the PCP encyclopaedia (a major ‘work in progress’ where all PCP terms and ideas are helpfully defined and elaborated) and to the e-journal Personal Construct Theory and Practice. The European Personal Construct Association can be accessed through the international site, or direct at www.epca-net.org. Our colleague Fay Fransella at the Centre for Personal Construct Psychology has an informative website at www.centrepcp.co.uk. You will find interesting summaries of PCP theory, and information about courses available at the Centre and by distance learning. Several members of PCPA offer a PCP approach to work in their specialist
fields. Please click on the links for more details: North America has a very active constructivist psychology network at www.constructivistpsych.org. The site has many useful links, academic papers available to download, and a newsletter - The Constructivist Chronicle. Many people sign up to the mailing list at www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/pcp.html where information is sought and exchanged, often about technical aspects of PCP, and information about repertory grids and access to programmes can be found by registering with JISCmail Tools. The most published PCP psychologist in the UK is our colleague Dorothy Rowe. Dorothy has a website at www.dorothyrowe.com.au which gives details of her publications and forthcoming lectures and other engagements. We also like Vincent Kenny’s homepage at www.oikos.org where several of Vincent’s interesting and provocative papers can be downloaded. |
